Koh Prathong "Paradise for Nature Lovers"

        Ko Phra Thong is located at Khura Buri, Phang Nga, about 2 kilometers from the shore, is the largest island in Phang Nga and the fifth largest in Thailand. The island has a strange landscape. It is quite flat. The unique character of this island. East complete with mangrove forest. The west is sandy beach. The middle of the island is a large grassland, which has a beautiful white Samae spread.
       "Savanna Grassland" or “Safari Grassland" is even more beautiful if you visit in the dry season. During December through January, it is more visibly golden thanks to the morning and evening sunlight.
        The island is home to over 100 species of birds, including the extremely rare and prehistoric-looking Lesser Adjutant Stork. Other animals on Koh Prathong such as : the Sambar Deer, Red Muntjak, Wild Boar, Manis javanica, Leopard cat.

Itinerary : A good day trip at Koh Phrathong

07.30 hrs.

Our tour guide welcome tourists at appiontment. [The airport, bus station, accommodation in Ranong downtown or according to other place in Ranong Province] by private van. Bring luggage into the van. Have breakfast (Set box). (1^st Meal) , We'll go to Green View tour pier.

08.30 hrs.

Arrive at Green View tour pier. Tour registration and a short introduction to the day’s activities with tea or coffee and biscuits.

09.00 hrs.

Head to Phrathong Island by long tail boat.

Enjoy sightseeing and the beautiful mangrove forests which is the source of abundant food sources for marine animals on the way to Koh Prathong.

10.00 hrs.

Arrive at Koh Phra Thong, visit the village of Pak-Jok. Affected by the tsunami From there, take the local car to take you to the golden grass fields. (Savannah grassland, Thailand) along the way. You can see the Plants and animal in the Forest, Nepenthes ampullaria Jack, Hornbill and etc.

11.30 hrs.

Have lunch with Local Thai set menu on the beach. (2^nd Meal)

13.30 hrs.

Leisure time; sun bathing, snorkeling or swimming in front of the beach.

15.30 hrs.

Depart from Koh Prathong to "Green View" pier.

16.30 hrs.

Arrive at "Green View" pier. After that, take showerand change to dry clothes.

18.00 hrs.

Dinner at a famous restaurant in Phang-Nga province. (3^rd Meal)

19.00 hrs.
