A day trip starts in evening. Picks you up at appointment by Siam Catamaran private van. First of all take everyone to Sacred place it comparable to the gateway of the province. Pay homage to the City Pillar Shrine and ask for blessings and then take everyone to the souvenir shop, afterwards go to Siam Catamaran pier for register. The boat will depart in the evening at about 05.30 pm. Take a boat through Tha Taphao canal for about 25 minutes.
When going out to the estuary. We can see the Khao Matri view point. On top of that is the shrine of Goddess of mercy. There is a coffee shop that is famous for Chumphon. And do not miss the bird's nest with a 360 degree view. And when looking out at the sea We will see the sun set.

When arriving at a suitable for squid fishing. The boat will park and allow you to squid fishing by yourself. Then we use “YO TA KA”[the quad hook bait for squid] to catch them and demonstrations showing how to find squid as a fisherman traditional.

Our tour guide welcome tourists at appiontment. [The airport, bus station, train station or according to other place in Chumphon Province.] by private VIP van. Bring luggage into the van. Ready to travel.

15.30 hrs.

Pay homage to the Chumphon City Pillar Shrine and ask for blessings. After that, take everyone to the souvenir shop.

17.00 hrs.

Start squid fishing trip by Siam Catamaran tour boat.

18.00 hrs.

Sailing the boat beyond the golden sunset On both sides of the river are fisherman’s wharf and village. Many of fishing boat going out for fishing just feel like you are the one of them to going out at night time.

Enjoy the touching authentic fisherman lifestyle. When the boat stop and anchor at the mark of “Squid-fishing”, turn on the light (green light) to entrap little fish, crab or shrimp in these area to enjoy the light then squid will try to catch them. Then we use “Yo Ta Ka” (the quad hook bait for squid) to catch them. Our service staff will demonstrate of HOW TO.

Enjoy dinner on board : Southern Thai food, Seasonal Fruit, Herb juice. (1^st Meal)
Cooking fresh squid from the sea : Cook in different style such as cut and eat fresh like Sashimi with seafood dressing or make BBQ on board.

Trawl fishing demonstration show : May fell good night time in the sea. From the squid-trapping spot, see plenty of green light all over the sea from trawl fishing boat or trawl squid boat.
It is a good chance to experience way of fisherman’s life in Chumphon sea.

Back to Siam Catamaran Pier.
